The Aberdeen Modeller’s Society has their annual show at The Gordon Highlanders Museum. The precision scaled displays will include aircraft, armoured vehicles, ships and figures.

Lieutenant Colonel Napier will be signing copies of The Life of a Regiment Volume VII on the day. This volume of the History of The Gordon Highlanders covers the final 25 years of their existence, during which they served in the British Army of the Rhine; as the last British military presence in Singapore, Belize and Berlin; on numerous tours in Northern Ireland and in Scotland and England.

As well as that, there was some discussion of purchases made at Saturday’s “Claymore” show in Edinburgh. I’m looking forward to giving “Regimental Fire & Fury” a go in a few weeks time.
